Stay Dog Hotel was created in 2006 when my good friend Clyde, a Kuvacz dog, nearly died from heatstroke. I decided to devote myself to the world of dogs and converted a vacant boatyard on a scenic stretch of the North Branch of the Chicago River into a top quality contemporary dog hotel. Stay gained instant popularity due to its unique, innovative and comprehensive approach to dog care. Over the next ten years, with the help of a devoted staff, our daycare and hotel service added a specialized rehabilitative care center, a training facility and a veterinary practice. The campus has grown to over 80,000 sq. feet and employs 100 staff members; one of which is Henry Dog, the inspiration for HDD.

This one-of-a-kind environment affords our design team the opportunity to research, design, and manufacture new products with close attention to form, function and beauty.
